A customer in Neptune, New Jersey wanted their damp crawl space encapsulated and contacted Quality 1st for a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and recommended that an encapsulation system be installed to eliminate the dampness and provide an area for storage for the homeowners.
Drainage Matting was installed on the crawl space floors to give the water entering the crawl space a channel underneath and directs the water to the sump pump. CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed on the crawl space floors and walls to make sure water vapor and humidity do not pass through. This liner is durable and will not tear making it perfect for protecting the crawl space and a usable storage area.
A homeowner in Neptune, New Jersey was having water come into their basement during heavy rains and contacted Quality 1st for a free estimate. Our System Design Specialist inspected the basement and noticed the signs of water and recommended that a new sump pump be installed. The homeowners current sump pump was old, outdated and not working. The TripleSafe sump pump was installed to make sure the basement stays dry. The TripleSafe has three levels of pumps built inside to make sure the water gets pumped out of the basement. In case of one pump failure, the next lower level pumps will kick in and keep the basement dry. The TripleSafe also has an UltraSump backup battery, set at the highest level will pump 11,500 gallons of water or more on a fully charged battery!
Jessica contacted Quality 1st Basements after noticing multiple signs of sagging floors. She had gaps between the floor and the interior wall from the floors sloping. Some of her doors and windows that use to operate succesfully were now sticking or wouldn't close. We sent System Design Specialist, Ken Peare out to inspect the crawl space and sit down with Jessica to discuss why her floors are sagging and the perfect solution to stable her crawl space beams!
Ken noticed signs that at one point water had gotten into her crawl space. The moisture from the water over time rotted the wood and deteriorated part of the floor joist. All of this caused her crawl space beams to sag creating uneven floors on the first level of her home. Ken recommended our SmartJack System, as the perfect solution to raise and stabilize the beams and the floor.
A Wall Township home was experiencing some sidewalk settlement encompassing the area. The settlement of the concrete slab was about 2-3 inches deep. Concrete Foreman Ash did a thorough job with PolyLevel solution to lift, level and secure the settled slab of concrete. To polish off the job, NexusPro Joint Sealant was applied to the joints in the slabs to prevent water entering and damaging the concrete slab in the future.
This garage apron of a Monmouth County, NJ house was sinking and settling, so the homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basements about lifting and leveling their concrete with PolyLevel. The homeowner chose PolyLevel because it was fast and easy to install, and within 15 minutes he could pull their car out from their garage and over his newly lifted garage apron.
