Quality 1st Basement Systems Before & After Photos

With help from System Design Specialist, Joe Mancini and Foreman, Esau and his crew, Quality 1st Basement Systems was able to provide a permanent solution to the dampness in this crawl space. By replacing the failing sump pump system with our SmartSump pump, this crawl space will now stay healthy and dry. 

The before picture shows a sump pump that has not be maintenance in awhile causing failure and flooding. The after picture is our team in the process of installing our SmartSump Pump System that was specifically designed for small spaces such as a crawl space. The airtight lid prevent water from evaporating back into the space all while protecting the sump pump inside the its liner. 

We find that basement windows can be part of the problem when experiencing dampness and musty odors. To ensure the entire basement is properly sealed off from water, mositure and unwanted drafts, we installed our Sunhouse Window Well . After the installation, the homeowner was thrilled to see natural sunlight come into their basement and not worry about water or unwanted drafts seeping through. 

This homeowner in Belford, New Jersey noticed their concrete walkway was becoming unlevel and cracking. This happens because concrete is poured over poorly compacted soil. Over time, this soil settles and creates voids underneath. The homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and our System Design Specialist, Jeff Pitek, provided an inspection and suggested they use polyurethane foam to lift the concrete. Our foreman, Ramon, used the PolyLevel Injection System to inject into the voids underneath the slab. This will bring the concrete to a lifted position within 20 minutes and will be safe to walk on.
