A homeowner in Upper Saddle River, New Jersey was having water coming into their crawl space and needed a solution. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and suggested an encapsulation system be installed. Drainage Matting was installed on the crawl space floors to give the water a channel so it is not trapped underneath the liner and never making it to the perimeter drain. The matting has raised dimples to make this possible. CleanSpace vapor barrier system was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to make sure no water vapor or humidity passes through. CleanSpace is a durable bright white liner that will not rip or tear making it perfect for the homeowners to use it for storage.
This Saddle River, New Jersey homeowner had been battling dampness in their basement for a long time. They started noticing efflorescence on the walls in their unfinished basement over time. Foreman, Jonathan and his crew installed a full perimeter WaterGuard french drain system along with our TripleSafe sump pump. We also recommended a back up battery that would keep the system running even during a power outage.
A homeowner in Saddle River, NJ went into their basement when they discovered their basement walls leaking. Before the situation could worsen, the homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems and scheduled an appointment for our specialist to go to the home and provide a quote. Our System Design Specialist, Andrew Gagliardi, arrived at the home and fully inspected the basement walls. Andrew suggested that the WaterGuard System would be the perfect solution for the homeowner for it would capture any water seepage and direct it to the sump pump system. This would keep the basement dry and provide the homeowner with peace of mind.
A resident in Saddle River, New Jersey notice trip hazards had formed around their pool due to sunken concrete. They contacted Quality 1st Basement Systems after seeing our ad in the newspaper. Concrete settles because the soil underneath can no longer support the weight of the slab. This is caused by soil shrinkage, or a washout of soil. If the soil is too wet or too dry, this can also cause concrete to sink and settle. Our foreman, Victor Leon, installed the PolyLevel Injections into the sinking slab. This polyurethane foam is injected by drilling small holes into the slab, and then raised back to it's original position. Now, the homeowner does not have to worry about a tripping hazard by their pool.
