Quality 1st Basement Systems Before & After Photos

The basement in this Parkville, MD home had drywall damaged by water and mold growth. To begin, we removed the old drywall and repaired the foundation walls using carbon fiber wall straps. Then we installed the WaterGuard drainage system and TripleSafe sump pump to help prevent future water problems. We then installed Total Basement Finishing waterproof wall panels which are covered by a 50-year warranty against water and mold damage. Much better than drywall! We also finished the basement floors with ThermalDry flooring, which is designed specifically for basement conditions. Now the basement is dry AND comfortable!  

At this property in Parkville, MD, the laundry room area of the basement collects a lot of water seepage from heavy rain and also in the winter after snow melts. After evaluating the water problem, we installed the below-grade WaterGuard drainage system and SuperSump sump pump. This system provides a permanent solution to help prevent basement flooding and also collects water from wall leaks that will be redirected into the below-grade drain.

Above the WaterGuard we trimmed the wall, hauled away the debris and installed our CleanSpace Vapor barrier on the contracted walls to permanently prevent moisture.

The team installed our cast-iron Zoeller M53 pump that is built for quality, durability and is capable of pumping 2,600-6,200 gallons per hour.
