A homeowner in Wall Township, New Jersey had a settled sidewalk that was sinking about 3 inches and contacted Quality 1st for concrete lifting and leveling solutions. PolyLevel was used to raise the concrete back to its original position. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected into the concrete through penny-size holes and starts working within minutes. The foam expands and starts lifting the concrete quickly and is a permanent solution.
The concrete around this homeowners pool was beginning to sink and settle. PolyLevel foam was injected beneath the surface to lift and level the concrete, removing the tripping hazards, creating a safer environment for the homeowner. The reason this Howell homeowner chose Quality 1st Basements and our PolyLevel System was because it is lightweight, waterproof and has a 5-year warranty!
A homeowner contacted Quality 1st Basements after noticing water in multiple spots of the basement. There was water seepage on the floor near the corners of the basement walls that would then flow out towards the middle of the space. The walls were damp and their was a musty odor beginning to form. Each time it rained hard or snowed that water would eventually find its way in. The Howell, NJ homeowners wanted a solution that would protect their basement against water and give them peace of mind of never having to worry about a wet and smelly basement again.
System Design Specialist, Tom C. designed a solution that would be the ultimate solution to their water concerns. Our foreman, Melvin and Eric installed a full Perimeter WaterGuard French Drain system to provide the entire basement with 100% protection against any rain storm. Our SuperSump pump system collects any water captured from our WaterGuard and pumps it out of the basement and away from the foundation of the home.
Concrete Repair Specialist, Jack Huber, recommended our concrete raising solution, PolyLevel for the sinking concrete around this pool area. Over time, the concrete slabs had settled from the weak soil underneath. PolyLevel will fill the voids between the slab and the soil, raise the existing slab back towards its original level, and permanently stabilize the area to prevent future settlement.
Concrete Foreman, Nick, and his team raised each sinking and settling slab around this pool area by injecting polyurethane foam underneath the slabs. Small penny-sized holes are drilled into the concrete slab and using special equipment, PolyLevel is injected underneath, expanding to lift the slab. Once each slab is leveled, the foam begins to harden to stabilize the concrete. PolyLevel is perfect for around the pool area since its waterproof and environmentally friendly.
