Quality 1st Basement Systems Before & After Photos

This homeowner was tired of having high utility bills, cold floors, and a musty odor throughout their home. They contacted Quality 1st and our System Design Specialist Jay Hugee went out to inspect the area. Our team led by Juan Garcia installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barior, SilverGlo Insulation & Sealed the vents to keep outside air from getting in. The Crawl Space no longer gives off a musty smell and the homeowner has noticed a significant decrease in their utility bills. 

System Design Specialist, Phil Matthews, met with a homeowner in Toms River, NJ about concerns they had in their basement when noticing water marks and efflorescence on the walls. From time to time they noticed the basement walls would get damp and a little water seepage would form  on the floor. They wanted to protect their basement and prevent water and mold growth in their basement. 

Phil designed a solution that would best the basements needs and the homeowners goal. To prevent moisture and water seepage on the walls, Phil recommended our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. Not only does it create a clean and bright appearance in the basement but directs all water seepage straight down to the WaterGuard French Drain System which then flows into the Sump Pump. 

This front porch in Toms River, NJ had settled about 3-4 inches into the ground. The walkway leading up to the house had some cracks in it as well. Quality 1st Basements injected PolyLevel underneath the concrete and it expanded to fill in voids underneath the slab. All cracks in the pavement were filled in with NexusPro Sealant. The homeowner can rest easy knowing that they and their family are safe from trips.   

A homeowner in Toms River was having high levels of moisture in the crawl space and wanted to get rid of it as soon as possible. System Design Specialist, Dan McNally, went out to the home and inspected the area. Dan Recommended a full crawl space encapsulation and Sedona dehumidifier to be installed to cease any more problems. The Basement team used a durable liner called Cleanspace to block outside air from coming in. The homeowner was pleased after the work was installed as it gave him a piece of mind knowing the crawl space was in good hands.

Peace of mind is exactly why this homeowner contacted us for a solution to their sagging floors. Right away they knew their crawl space needed to be checked by a professional when noticing their floor on the first level of their home began to settle. 

Mike Fiorillo, our crawl space specialist, inspected the crawl space beams and floor joist. He suggested our SmartJack System to supply additional support to the crawl space beams that were causing the floors to sag. 

Our Crew installed 20 SmartJacks to support the floor joists and over all protect the crawl space structure. The homeowners now had peace of mind that their floors weren't going to settle further.
