This Linden, NJ home was struggling with foundation and water damage that was posing a great threat to the homeowner's living space. Foundation walls were showing signs of bowing and cracking, while the floors were suffering from the water finding its way inside. To fix these issues and restore the home's structural integrity, our team at Quality 1st stepped in to provide a solution.   Our crew installed our WaterGuard Perimeter Drains and lined our Drainage Matting on top of it. This system along the perimeter of the basement floors will drastically improve the basement's channel system for flooding water to find its way into the new TripleSafe sump pump that we installed. CleanSpace Vapor Barrier was also installed along part of the basement walls to prevent water from seeping in through the imperfections of the wall. To address the bowing problem of the wall, we equipped the basement with our PowerBrace Repair System. These strong steel beams were secured to the joists above the wall and are adjustable, giving the potential for the system to be tightened and restoring the wall to a straighter position over time.
