Foundation Repair Photo Album: Foundation Repair in Sparta, NJ
A homeowner in Sparta, New Jersey noticed their home's foundation was settling forming cracks in the basement walls. When soil becomes too wet or too dry, its causes movement with the foundation. Our System Design Specialist, Steve Ventriglio, was able to provide an inspection of the home and help the homeowner find a plan to fix this issue. He suggested they use PushPier System to stabilize the home and lift it back towards its original level. Our foreman, Esau Aquino, installed the Steel Push Piers underneath the home. This is done by hydraulically driving the steel push pier sections through to the stable soil layer. Then, the weight of the home is transferred from the concrete foundation through the steel bracket to the stable soil. After this, a lift can be attempted to bring the home back to its original position. Once the stabilization is complete, the system is hidden from view and the home is permanently stabilize.
