This vent was not properly sealed allowing unwanted humid air and cold drafts into the crawl space.
Damp Crawl Space
This dirt crawl space was getting cold drafts in the winter time creating cold floors and an over worked heater. Then come spring the dampness would find its way in and be trapped all summer creating a musty and wet space under the home.
Drainage Matting
Our team removes any debris and begins installing the Drainage matting to prevent trapped water underneath the vapor barrier liner. This will ensure proper sealing and protection not only to our CleanSpce but the crawl space itself.
Full Encapsulation of Crawlspace
SilverGlo Heat Barrier was installed to the walls to help create a more controlled temperature in this space. Finally, the moisture vapor barrier known as CleanSpace is installed to the walls and floor to seal the space. New Vent covers are then installed to block the outside environment from effect the air quality inside this space. This system will promote a dry and healthy space preventing mold.
