Crawl Space Moisture
Moisture in this homeowner's crawl space was primarily caused by poor drainage around the foundation, allowing rainwater to accumulate and seep inside. The lack of a proper vapor barrier left the soil exposed, enabling ground moisture to rise into the space. Additionally, humid outdoor air entering through open vents created condensation on cool surfaces, further contributing to dampness and the potential for mold and wood rot.
WaterGuard Install
Our crew began the WaterGuard installation by excavating a clean trench along the crawl space perimeter, creating a channel for effective drainage. Once the trench was prepared, the WaterGuard system was carefully placed to capture incoming water at the footing level.
WaterGuard Drainage System
WaterGuard offers a reliable, low-maintenance solution for keeping crawl spaces dry by capturing water before it can enter the interior. Its unique, clog-resistant design ensures smooth drainage, while its placement along the footing allows it to intercept leaks at the most vulnerable points.
Installing SilverGlo
Once positioned, the SilverGlo Panels were securely fastened in place, creating a continuous layer of reflective insulation. This installation not only boosts energy efficiency but also adds a clean, polished look to the crawl space while helping regulate temperature and reduce moisture concerns.
Installing Drainage Matting
Our crew began by preparing the crawl space floor, smoothing out any uneven areas to ensure proper placement of the Drainage Matting. Once prepped, the durable, dimpled matting was rolled out across the entire ground surface, allowing it to create a raised, textured pathway for water to flow freely underneath.
Drainage Matting
Drainage Matting provides an essential layer of moisture control by allowing groundwater to flow beneath it instead of pooling on the crawl space floor. Its raised design encourages efficient drainage, prevents dampness from lingering, and supports the overall performance of encapsulation systems.
CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
By isolating the crawl space from damp soil and outside air, CleanSpace helps protect structural wood, improves indoor air quality, and ensures long-term dryness. This homeowner now benefits from a cleaner, healthier, and far more resilient crawl space environment.
SaniDry Sedona
Our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was installed to maintain optimal humidity levels in the crawl space, preventing excess moisture from causing mold, mildew, and wood rot. Its high-efficiency system continuously removes damp air, creating a dry, controlled environment that complements the existing vapor barrier and drainage solutions.
IceGuard Discharge Line
IceGuard was installed to safely channel water away from the crawl space, even in freezing temperatures, preventing backups and ice-related blockages.
