Crawl Space Water Seepage
Water intrusion in this homeowner's crawl space was caused by poor exterior drainage, including improperly graded soil and clogged gutters that allowed rainwater to pool near the foundation. Additionally, the lack of a vapor barrier and minimal ventilation led to excessive ground moisture rising into the space, contributing to damp, musty conditions and increasing the risk of mold and structural damage.

During Drainage Matting Install
Our crew began by leveling the crawl space floor and carefully laying down our patented Drainage Matting, which features raised dimples to create channels that direct groundwater to a proper drainage system, helping prevent water buildup under the vapor barrier.

Installing SilverGlo
Next, we installed SilverGlo Insulation Panels along the crawl space walls. These rigid foam panels were measured, cut, and securely fastened to provide high-performance insulation with a radiant barrier, improving energy efficiency and helping regulate the space's temperature.

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier
To complete the encapsulation, we installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier by sealing the durable, multi-layer liner tightly across the floor and up the walls, overlapping seams and securing it with fasteners and tape to lock out ground moisture and humidity for long-term crawl space protection.

The Benefits Of Encapsulation
Encapsulating this homeowner's crawl space offers lasting benefits, including improved moisture control, enhanced indoor air quality, and reduced risk of mold and structural damage. The sealed environment also boosts energy efficiency by minimizing drafts and heat loss, leading to lower utility bills and a more comfortable living space year-round.
