Old Sump Pump
The homeowner's old sump pump was no longer functioning efficiently, causing water to accumulate and seep into the crawl space during heavy rains. Its limited capacity and outdated design allowed moisture to linger, leading to increased humidity, potential mold growth, and damage to the home's foundation.

Crawl Space Water Seepage
In addition to the failing sump pump, water seepage in the homeowner's crawl space was also caused by poor exterior drainage, hydrostatic pressure around the foundation, and the lack of a proper interior waterproofing system. These issues allowed groundwater to infiltrate the space, leading to persistent dampness and structural concerns.

During WaterGuard Install
Our crew installed the WaterGuard Drainage System by excavating a trench along the interior perimeter of the crawl space. The system was carefully placed just above the footing to prevent clogs and ensure optimal water flow. Once in place, it was surrounded with clean washed stone.

Installing SmartSump
We installed the SmartSump by first creating a sump pit at the lowest point of the crawl space for optimal water collection. The pump was then securely placed in the basin and connected to the newly installed drainage system. To finish, we sealed the lid to prevent moisture and odors from escaping, and connected the discharge line to direct water safely away from the home.

The Benefits Of SmartSump
SmartSump is specifically designed for crawl spaces, offering powerful, reliable protection against water intrusion. Equipped with a built-in alarm and airtight lid, it efficiently removes collected water while preventing humidity and vapor from entering the home.

WaterGuard In Place
WaterGuard offers a highly effective, low-maintenance solution for keeping crawl spaces dry. Its unique design sits above the footing, preventing clogs from soil or debris while efficiently capturing water seepage from walls and floors.

IceGuard Discharge Line
The crew also installed our IceGuard Discharge Line to ensure year-round protection by preventing water backup in the event of a frozen or blocked discharge line. Its patented design allows water to safely escape even if the main line is obstructed, keeping the crawl space dry and the sump pump functioning properly during freezing temperatures.
