Wet Crawl Space
Persistent moisture in this crawl space was likely caused by poor drainage, lack of a proper vapor barrier, and inadequate ventilation. These conditions allowed for groundwater seepage and humid air to accumulate, leading to a damp, unhealthy environment.

Installing SmartPipe
We installed the SmartPipe Drainage System along the crawl space perimeter, designed to capture groundwater and channel it to a sump pump. This advanced solution helps keep the area dry by preventing standing water and improving overall drainage efficiency.

During TripleSafe Install
Next, our crew installed our TripleSafe Sump Pump System, featuring three levels of protection to keep the crawl space dry year-round. It includes a primary pump, a backup pump, and a battery-powered unit to ensure continuous operation, even during power outages.

Drainage Matting
Drainage Matting was installed across the crawl space floor to create a clear path for water to flow toward the drainage system. This layer helps prevent moisture buildup and enhances the effectiveness of the entire waterproofing system.

IceGuard
The IceGuard Discharge Line was also added to ensure water can safely exit the sump system, even if the exterior line freezes. This key feature helps prevent backups and protects the crawl space from flooding during cold weather.

CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System
We placed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System along the crawl space floor and walls, creating a sealed, moisture-resistant layer that blocks humidity and helps prevent mold, rot, and musty odors.

The Importance Of Encapsulation
Crawl space encapsulation is crucial for protecting your home from moisture, mold, and poor air quality. By sealing off the area with a vapor barrier, you create a healthier, more energy-efficient living environment above!
