Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Encapsulating Crawl Space in Toms River, NJ

Beneath a home in Toms River, NJ, the crawl space was dealing with lingering moisture that was resulting in an unhealthy environment. The homeowner reached out to Quality 1st to find a protective waterproofing solution that would improve the health of their home. Our System Design Specialist Joe went to the home to assess the crawl space and provide the homeowner with a repair plan that our Foreman Faustino and crew would install. To provide the home with the best solution, our crew installed a complete encapsulation system in the crawl space. The floor of the crawl space was covered with our Drainage Matting, then concealed with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This vapor barrier was installed around the entire crawl space, up the walls, and around piers. Our SilverGlo Insulation Panels were installed around the walls to insulate the crawl space while simultaneously preventing water and humidity from entering the space. We then installed a new TripleSafe Sump Pump and a Sedona Dehumidifier to guarantee a dry crawl space. The old cover for the exterior door of the crawl space was water-damaged, so we replaced it with one of our airtight EverLast Doors. Thanks to our team, this home now has a dry and protected crawl space that greatly improves the home's health!
