A homeowner in Hamilton, New Jersey had a crawl space that needed encapsulation and there were also cracks in the foundation walls. Our System Design Specialist inspected the crawl space and noticed it was damp and musty. To solve this, an encapsulation system was installed starting with, Drainage Matting on the floor. This matting has raised dimples that gives the water a channel underneath the crawl space liner. This directs the water to the sump pump. SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation was installed on the walls to reflect heat back into the crawl space for ultimate energy savings. CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System was installed on the crawl space walls and floors to make sure no water vapor or humidity passes through. This liner is ideal to seal off the crawl space and is durable so the homeowners can use it for storage. The floors above the crawl space were sagging and needed support.
