Crawl Space Repair Photo Album: Complete Crawl Space Makeover - Spring Lake, NJ

This crawl space needed a total makeover. Quality 1st was called by the homeowner to make their crawl space a usable space. The homeowner reported a crack in the foundation and bowing in the wall. To fix the bowing wall, CarbonArmour Wall Reinforcement System was installed to stabilize the walls. CarbonArmour are strips  made from a fiber reinforced polymer that's 10 times stronger than steel and is specifically designed for this purpose. CarbonArmour is attached to the wall and secured with heavy duty steel brackets, pulling the wall back to its original position. SilverGlo Crawl Space Wall Insulation was installed on the crawl space walls to provide added insulation and warmth to the crawl space.  SilverGlo is made of tiny particles that reflect heat and lower the material's conductivity. CleanSpace, a bright white crawl space liner, was installed in the crawl space to prevent water vapor and humidity from passing through the walls, keeping the crawl space clean and dry. Lastly, EverLast basement windows were installed in the basement, outside the crawl space to replace the old, rotting existing windows. The new windows give a clean, finished appearance to the basement and crawl space.
