Mike Jersey noticed high humidity, water stains along the walls and a draft coming in through multiple crawl space windows. The insulation was all over the floor of the crawl space and hanging from the ceiling as well. Mike recommended a Vapor Barrier System to prevent water and anything else that would cause damage to the crawl space and to the home. The Quality 1st crew removed the insulation and dirt, cleaning the crawl space out to properly install the Vapor Barrier System. CleanSpace Drainage Matting was installed to the floor of the crawl space providing a channel for the water flooding in underneath the liner preventing standing water. CleanSpace is installed directly over the matting which prevents water vapor and humidity from passing through. This bright white liner provides a cleaner, brighter look while keeping the crawl space dry. SilverGlo was installed as a radiant barrier which helps reflects heat back into crawl space. Vent Covers were installed to prevent outside air, pests, and moisture from coming through the vents. Each product works together to provide the crawl space with the up most protection against water, humidity and moisture. Now the homeowner can rest easy knowing that water will never find its way back into the crawl space again.
