Preventing Water Intrusion In Cape May, NJ Crawl Space

Challenge

Moisture slowly began creeping into the crawl space of a Cape May, NJ home, turning a once-dry area into a source of growing concern for the homeowner. Rising humidity, damp surfaces, and a musty odor signaled that the space was becoming vulnerable to structural decay and mold growth. Wanting to stop the problem before it worsened, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st for a long-term solution that would fully protect their home’s foundation.

Solution

Upon arrival, our team performed an in-depth inspection to evaluate the moisture levels and identify all contributing sources. This thorough assessment revealed areas lacking proper insulation, failing vapor protection, and insufficient air control, key issues that allowed moisture to thrive. With this information in hand, we developed a customized waterproofing and encapsulation plan designed to restore the crawl space and prevent future problems.
