The inspection done by our System Design Specialist, Joseph confirmed that improper support and moisture problems in the crawl space were compromising the structural integrity of the home. Immediate action was needed to prevent further damage and restore both stability and peace of mind.

Solution

To resolve the issue, we developed a comprehensive crawl space repair plan utilizing our SmartJack, CleanSpace, and SilverGlo systems. First, we addressed the home’s sagging floors by installing the SmartJack System, a series of galvanized steel support posts designed to stabilize the floor joists and beams and lift them back toward their original position. This permanent solution provided the structural reinforcement the home desperately needed.

Next, we tackled the underlying moisture problem with CleanSpace Encapsulation, a durable, high-performance vapor barrier that transformed the previously damp and mold-prone crawl space into a clean, dry, and protected environment. Finally, we installed SilverGlo Insulation on the crawl space walls.
