Concrete Lifting & Crack Repair in Williamstown, NJ
Challenge
In Williamstown, NJ, a homeowner was growing increasingly frustrated with their sinking sidewalk and cracked driveway. The uneven concrete was more than just an eyesore, it presented a serious tripping hazard and a liability concern. These issues were compromising the home’s curb appeal and safety, prompting the homeowner to contact us at Quality 1st Basement Systems for help. Following the call, we scheduled a comprehensive inspection to assess the damage. Our experienced sales representative, John carefully evaluated the concrete surfaces, identifying the underlying causes of the settlement and cracking. It was clear that the home needed a long-term, reliable solution that would both restore the appearance and prevent further deterioration.
Solution
To address the homeowner’s concerns, our team recommended a two-part approach: PolyLevel concrete lifting and NexusPro joint and crack sealing. Our production crew arrived ready to work, starting with the PolyLevel system. We strategically drilled small, minimally invasive holes into the affected slabs and injected a high-density polyurethane foam beneath the surface. As the foam expanded, it gently lifted the sunken concrete back to its original level with impressive precision and stability. Once the lifting process was complete, we turned our attention to the visible cracks and joints. Using NexusPro, we sealed these vulnerable areas with a durable, flexible material designed to keep out moisture and prevent further soil erosion under the concrete. The result was a smooth, level surface that looked better, functioned safely, and would stand the test of time.
