Concrete Settlement
Over time, the homeowner's pool deck began to settle due to soil erosion and shifting beneath the concrete surface, often caused by poor drainage, seasonal weather changes, and the natural compaction of loose backfill used during construction. These factors created voids under the slab, leading to uneven, sinking concrete and growing safety concerns.

Before Repairs
To ensure the most effective and long-lasting concrete repair solution, our System Design Specialist conducted a comprehensive inspection of the entire pool deck, carefully evaluating the extent of the settlement, identifying underlying soil issues, checking for drainage problems, and assessing joint and crack conditions to determine the best approach for stabilization and protection.

Lifting With PolyLevel
First, small, strategically placed holes were drilled into the affected concrete slabs. Then, the high-density polyurethane foam was injected beneath the surface, where it expanded to fill voids and stabilize loose soil. As the foam expanded, it gently lifted the concrete back to its original position with precision and control.

Applying NexusPro
We applied NexusPro Joint Sealant to further protect the homeowner's pool deck from future settlement. This advanced, UV-resistant sealant was carefully installed in all joints and cracks to prevent water from seeping beneath the concrete, a common cause of soil erosion and slab movement. Unlike traditional caulks, NexusPro remains flexible and durable through extreme weather, ensuring long-term protection and a clean, finished look around the pool deck

Stable Pool Deck
Together, these cutting-edge solutions not only addressed the immediate structural issues but also provided long-term reinforcement, giving the homeowner complete peace of mind and a pool deck built to last.
