Concrete Lifting and Leveling Photo Album: Sinking Slab in Allentown, NJ Raised with Polyurethane Foam
Its important to address concrete as soon as it begins to sink and settle. Concrete is apart of your homes foundation and over the past 25 years, we have helped homeowners repair their concrete to help increase the value of their biggest investment, their home. Take a look at how we helped this Allentown, NJ homeowner with their settling concrete slab that supported their air conditioning unit.
How we raised the slab:
Our team does a full walk through to make sure everything is removed and the area is clear for installation. They begin drilling small penny-size holes into the concrete slab. Next, the PolyLevel foam is injected underneath where it begins to expand, raising the concrete back to level. Once the slab is raised back towards its desired position, they stop injection to allow the foam to harden. Since it is light weight and waterproof, it will easily support the slab and never wash away.
Area
The concrete slabs were located in the back of the house where their air conditioning units were.
Settlement
Upon inspection, our Concrete Repair Specialist, measured roughly an inch of settlement.
Before
The right slab had settled roughly an inch causing the unit to rest unevenly on the concrete.
After
Using PolyLevel Foam we were able to lift the concrete slab back to level.
