Concrete sinks because the soil underneath is either too wet, too dry or poorly compacted which creates weak soil. The soil can no longer hold the weight of the slab, causing it to sink and settle.
As you can see here, Andy measured each sinking slab and recorded 1 to 2 inches of settlement.
Andy noticed several trip hazards around the pool area caused by settlement. Melissa wanted a solution that would level the concrete and remove the trip hazards to prevent injury around the pool.
Our PolyLevel team lifted and leveled each sinking slab to create a trip free environment around the pool.
Thanks to our Concrete Repair Specialist and our PolyLevel team, Quality 1st Basements was able to help Melissa by providing her with a solution to her sinking concrete issue.
Our Concrete Repair Specialist, Andy Gagilardi, met with Melissa about sinking concrete she was experience around her pool area. Andy did a full inspection and noticed roughly 2 inches of settlement. He recommended our concrete lifting and level solution, PolyLevel. PolyLevel is a polyurethane foam that is injected below the slab to raise it back towards its original level.
