Concrete Lifting and Leveling Photo Album: Sinking Sidewalk is Raised in Plainsboro, NJ
The homeowner of a single family home decided to call Quality 1st when he noticed settled and sunken concrete slabs near the garage at his Plainsboro, New Jersey home. The concrete slab of the 1,995 square foot home experienced 1 ½ inches of settlement. The homeowner had been living at the home for 2 years before he decided to take care of the problem. The sunken and settling slabs began to create tripping hazards, alarming the homeowner for the safety and value, of his property.
Quality 1st remedied the homeowner’s problem with the PolyLEVELPolyurethane Injection System. The crew drilled penny sized holes into the settling and sunken parts of the concrete slab. They then used the specialized equipment to inject the polyurethane under the concrete and raise it back to its original elevation. With the use of the PolyLEVELsystem, Quality 1st was able to lift and stabilize the settling concrete slab(s). The PolyLEVEL system was installed in less than one day, with no mess left behind. The concrete slab was immediately able to be walked on just a few moments after installation. This fast installation process gave the homeowner peace of mind and left him very happy knowing that his family can safely utilize their total living space with no future settlement issues.

Sidewalk had a few sinking slabs that had settled over 1". The homeowner wanted it fixed right away to prevent any of their guest from getting hurt while coming or going from their home.
