Targeting Water Seepage In Maple Shade, NJ Basement
Challenge
Persistent basement water seepage had become a serious concern for a Maple Shade, NJ homeowner, who began noticing signs of moisture buildup and dampness throughout their basement. The problem was traced back to an outdated sump pump that was no longer functioning effectively, allowing groundwater to collect and potentially cause long-term damage. With the risks of mold growth and structural deterioration on the rise, the homeowner knew it was time to find a permanent solution and reached out to Quality 1st for help.
Solution
Following a detailed inspection of the basement, our team designed a custom waterproofing plan tailored to the home’s specific needs. The installation began with our WaterGuard Drainage System, which was positioned along the perimeter of the basement floor to capture incoming water and direct it to the new TripleSafe Sump Pump. For added protection near entry points like staircases and doors, we incorporated our TrenchDrain System to intercept surface water before it could spread. The TripleSafe Sump Pump, equipped with three levels of backup, ensures the basement remains protected even in the event of a power outage or pump failure. To further control moisture and improve the basement’s appearance, CleanSpace Wall Panels were installed, creating a vapor barrier and brightening the space. Lastly, we included the IceGuard Discharge Line to prevent the system from backing up during freezing temperatures, ensuring reliable performance year-round. With this comprehensive waterproofing system in place, the homeowner now has lasting protection, peace of mind, and a healthier home environment.
