At this home, we were able to install our waterproofing systems, such as our CleanSpace Wall System with our WaterGuard sub-flooring drainage system. Our CleanSpace acts as a barrier, keeping any moisture or vapor that comes through the cement block wall. Once the vapor barrier captures the moisture, it carries down to the sub-floor drainage system that is connected to the sump pump. This helps keep your basement dry and will seal out any possible drafts during winter months.
In the basement of this Newark home, the sump pump wasn't properly draining water and water would leak in the bottom corner of the bathroom when it would rain. The team cut back the damaged wall to remove and haul away, then we wrapped the leaky area with our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier. This patent barrier seals out cold drifts that reduce moisture and captures the wall leakage down into our sub-floor drainage system. The WaterGuard drain system captures the water from the floor joint and redirects to the sump chamber, safely keeping your space dry and water-free.
In this split-level home, water was coming into the bathroom from the corner of the space where the wall and floor meet. We cut back the wall in order for us to install our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier, which is designed to capture the wall leakage coming into the home. We then installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drain that safely carries the captured water down into the sump system, which will now keep the area dry and free from water.
At this Newark property, the sump system wouldn't turn on as often as it should, and it began to get a moldy smell due to the high humidity. Our service tech went out and installed our SaniDry Sedona, which automatically controls the levels of humidity inside the home and also prevents the growth of mold, filters particles, and removes odors. We attached the dehumidifier to the pump system, which will automatically drain any water into the Sump System and keep moisture under control.
At this residence, the owners were finishing their basement and wanted a larger window to have better access outside with more natural light. Our team removed the old window to cut through the foundation for the installation of the Egress Window and hauled away all the debris. By getting this installed, the owners now have a safe emergency exit from the home, making the basement feel much larger and more inviting.
