A homeowner in Lancaster, PA began noticing water seepage in their basement, which over time led to increasingly damp and uncomfortable conditions. What started as occasional moisture soon turned into a persistent issue that affected the overall environment of the space, causing concerns about mold, air quality, and potential damage to personal belongings. Wanting a reliable, long-term solution, the homeowner reached out to Quality 1st.
Upon inspection, our team identified the key sources of water intrusion and developed a comprehensive waterproofing strategy tailored specifically to the home’s needs.
To fully resolve the issue, our crew installed a custom-designed system that included our patented WaterGuard Drainage System to effectively collect and channel water away from the foundation. We also integrated our TripleSafe Sump Pump for maximum water removal and backup protection, CleanSpace Wall Panels to block moisture and enhance the basement’s appearance, and our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to maintain optimal humidity levels. Together, these high-performance components created a powerful, integrated solution. As a result, the basement was transformed into a dry, clean, and inviting space, restoring comfort for the homeowner and providing lasting peace of mind!
Open sump pits are hazardous, unsightly and prone to clogging with debris. This customer was dealing with issues from their current sump system and was looking to upgrade. We recommended our Supersump Plus with the Zoeller M63 1/3 HP pump. This pump is housed in a durable plastic sump liner that includes an airtight lid, a pump stand to prevent silt and small objects from clogging the intake, and a waterwatch alarm to alert the homeowner if the water level rises above the point where the pump should turn on.
This basement, in general, was just a damp basement. The customer tried to correct the issue himself with purchasing 2 standard dehumidifiers but it just was not cutting it. We came out and installed BrightWall paneling, which keeps water vapor and humidity from passing through your foundation walls, all while giving your basement a bright, clean look. We also installed a Sanidry Upright Dehumidifier which removes up to 109 liters of water per day, WaterGuard and a SuperSump Pump.
At this property, one of the basement walls had always shown a sign of moisture buildup, and mold had begun to grow around the area. We installed our SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, which is designed to stop mold growth, the musty basement smell and eliminate dust mites. Our Sedona is an efficient, high-performing dehumidifier that has a built-in filtration system that gives you drier, healthier air.
This Lititz customer had a semi-finished basement that he was looking to install an Egress window in the unfinished portion. This area currently had a window, but the window was not large enough to escape out of in case of an emergency and this same window, did not allow much natural lighting into the basement. We came out and installed an In-Swing Egress with a RockWell. This large In-swing Egress will now brighten up the basement with the amount of natural light it is allowing to come in and, in case of an emergency, this is now a quick, safe and easy exit from the basement.
