Basement Waterproofing Before & After Photos

In Roselle Park, NJ, an outdated sump pump was leaving a basement vulnerable to leaks and dampness. We solved the problem with a new SuperSump system, WaterGuard perimeter drains, and CleanSpace wall liner for long-term moisture control. The basement is now dry, healthier, and protected from future water issues.

To access the cast-iron Zoeller pump for annual maintenance, Service Technician Chris removed the airtight lid of the SuperSump Sump Pump System. He carefully removed the primary pump and cleaned and checked all components and replaced the check valves. Chris then cleaned the pump, the sump pit and the pump stand.  Once reassembled, Chris performed a system test to ensure all components were operating properly to provide a reliable wet basement solution!

Quality 1st Basement Systems inspected this wet basement and determined that water was leaking in due to a lack of sump pump and through the concrete walls. Quality 1st Basement Systems installed a Triple Safe sump pump which pumps the water out of the basement keeping the basement dry. A CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed around the perimeter of the basement to stop water from coming in through the basement walls. This basement is now dry!

To prevent water from entering through vulnerable basement entry points, the TrenchDrain was installed, seamlessly capturing water around doorways and windows. Finally, our IceGuard Discharge Line System and SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier were added to ensure that water flow remained uninterrupted during freezing conditions and that the air remained dry and healthy year-round.

The transformation was remarkable—the basement was now a dry, healthy, and inviting space, completely restored and free from the threat of moisture damage.
