This customer contacted us looking to waterproof her basement as well as upgrade her sump pump to a newer system with an airtight lid and a battery-powered backup. We chose to offer her the Supersump System. This system features the Zoeller M63 1/3 HP pump, capable of pumping 2,650 gallons per hour, a Waterwatch Alarm System that sounds off if the water rises above the point where the pump should turn on, the Superliner basin and an airtight lid. This system also features a CleanPump Stand, which serves to elevate the the pump from any silt or sediment that may build up at the bottom of the basin. For the battery backup we installed the Ultrasump 4, which features an automatic switching system to keep your basement dry in case of a power outage, main pump failure, tripped breaker or simply an unplugged main pump.
To further waterproof her basement this customer also chose our Waterguard French Drain System and our Cleanspace Wall Liner, which is a 100% waterproof plastic barrier that helps guide any water seepage down to the drainage system.
For this project we came out and upgraded the basements current window to an Egress window. The material used for this job consisted of a 27 x 45 In-Swing Egress window, Bowman Kemp Metal Egress Well and Plastic Cover. We also installed a Well Duct Drain that connected to their current waterproofing system.
Here's a customer who, with heavy rains, his existing drain wasn't enough to stop water from coming in under his walkout basement door. This issue would cause his basement to flood because his old sump pump was. We installed a TrenchDrain outside the door with some WaterGuard XL as well as our Z Triplesafe 3. He was so satisfied with our system, he decided to replace the existing flooring with our Elite Plank flooring.
Moisture had gradually become a growing concern for a homeowner in Pikesville, MD, as their basement shifted from slightly damp to consistently uncomfortable. The increase in humidity raised red flags about potential mold growth, musty odors, and long-term damage to the home's structure and indoor air quality. Seeking a permanent solution, the homeowner turned to our waterproofing specialists for expert guidance. After conducting a extensive inspection, our team identified the key source of moisture intrusion and developed a targeted solution tailored to the specific needs of the space.
To effectively combat the issue, we installed our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier, a high-performance system engineered to control humidity and eliminate excess moisture from the air. Compact yet incredibly powerful, the Sedona is designed to operate efficiently in large basement environments, ensuring optimal air quality and long-term protection against condensation. Once installed, the change was immediate, the basement became noticeably drier, healthier, and more comfortable.
With the system in place, the homeowner now benefits from improved indoor conditions and the confidence that their home is better protected from moisture-related worries!
Customer was receiving water in through the front portion of the basement when it rained. We added a clean space vapor barrier to a small portion of the wall, installed a super sump and WaterGuard to control the water issue.
