Gradually increasing moisture levels began to compromise this New Castle, DE basement, prompting the homeowner to become concerned about the risks of structural damage and potential mold growth. Understanding that excess moisture can negatively impact both the foundation and indoor air quality, they reached out to the professionals at Quality 1st Basement Systems for a lasting solution. Taking a proactive approach helped ensure the problem would be addressed before more serious issues developed.
After a detailed inspection by our System Design Specialist, a customized waterproofing plan was designed to address both water intrusion and humidity control. The solution included the installation of our patented TrenchDrain System to manage surface water, TripleSafe Sump Pump for reliable water removal, ThermalDry Basement Sub Floor Matting to create a warmer and moisture-resistant foundation, and our SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier to maintain healthy humidity levels.
Working together, these advanced systems now protect the basement from future moisture concerns while restoring it to a clean, dry, and comfortable living space!
This customer reached out regarding an old sump that was in need of replacing. We replaced the old pump with our TripleSafe sump pump that has triple the protection and keeps the basement dry. It is a three-pump system that assures protection and can handle high volumes of water and will keep operating even during a power outage.
In this New Castle, DE basement, water accumulation and a defective sump pump left the space unfinished and unusable. To tackle these challenges, we upgraded the area with our efficient WaterGuard drainage system and installed the robust TripleSafe Sump Pump. Along with this, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier now keeps the environment healthy and moisture-free.
In this unfinished basement, a vertical crack was found, but no bowing has started. To prevent any further issues, the team installed our FlexiSpan System with Urethane injection, which is designed to permanently stop any water leakage through wall cracks. This three-part process is a fail-safe crack treatment that lets future seepage move down into the basement's sub-floor drain system that connects to the sump pump.
In this basement, the block foundation would leak every time it would rain, and the water would just sit in the corner of the room. We installed our CleanSpace Vapor Barrier around the block foundation wall that will capture any water that leaks into the home. Then we installed our WaterGuard sub-floor drain system that lies flush below the vapor barrier that carries the captured water into the sump pump system. By getting this system installed the worry of flooding will decrease and the owner will notice that the area is much dry and no more water leaks in the home.
