Before Finishing
Before any basement finishing plans could move forward, our System Design Specialist conducted a thorough inspection to assess the full extent of the moisture intrusion and structural conditions. This in-depth evaluation involved examining the foundation walls, floor, existing drainage systems, and signs of water damage or humidity issues. The goal was to gather all necessary information to develop the most effective and customized repair strategy.

Installing WaterGuard
Our crew began by carefully removing a section of the basement floor perimeter to create a trench for the WaterGuard Drainage System. Once in place along the footing of the foundation, the system was connected to a sump pump for efficient water removal. After installation, the trench was backfilled with clean stone and sealed with fresh cement, leaving a clean finish while providing a powerful, hidden defense against basement water intrusion.

WaterGuard Drainage System
Unlike traditional French drains, WaterGuard is designed to sit above the footing and away from the "mud zone," preventing clogging over time. Its unique, patented design captures water seepage from walls and floors before it can reach the living space, keeping the basement dry, healthy, and protected from future flooding or moisture damage.

SuperSump Premier
Equipped with a high-capacity cast-iron pump, airtight lid, and WaterWatch Alarm system, the SuperSump ensures fast, efficient water removal and immediate alerting in case of pump failure. We chose this system due to the homeowner's history of frequent groundwater intrusion, making it essential to have a powerful, dependable sump pump in place for long-term peace of mind.

IceGuard Discharge Line
We installed the IceGuard Discharge Line attachment to ensure the sump pump system could function year-round, especially during freezing temperatures. This patented component automatically ejects water away from the home if the buried discharge line becomes frozen or blocked, preventing backups and potential basement flooding.

ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring
Compared with traditional wood or laminate, our ThermalDry Flooring will never warp, rot, or grow mold, making it the perfect choice for maintaining a dry, healthy, and attractive basement space.

ThermalDry Flooring
Designed to sit on raised pegs that create a thermal break from the cold concrete slab, ThermalDry Elite Plank Flooring helps keep basement floors noticeably warmer and more comfortable underfoot. Its stylish wood-look design also adds a finished, modern look, turning the basement into a livable, inviting extension of the home.

EverLast Wall Panels
The crew also installed our EverLast Wall Panels to provide a long-term, moisture-resistant solution ideal for basement conditions. Unlike drywall, these panels are made from inorganic materials that won't absorb water, support mold growth, or deteriorate over time, ensuring the walls stay clean, dry, and durable even in high-humidity environments.

EverLast Wall Panels
EverLast Wall Panels were chosen not only for their resilience but also for their built-in insulation and attractive, finished appearance. They never need painting and are easy to clean, making them a low-maintenance option that transforms the basement into a bright, comfortable living space while enhancing energy efficiency.

The Benefits Of Basement Finishing
Finishing your basement transforms unused space into a functional, comfortable extension of your home, perfect for a family room, home office, gym, or guest suite. It also adds significant property value, improves energy efficiency with added insulation, and creates a healthier environment when paired with moisture-resistant materials that prevent mold and mildew growth.
