In Galloway, NJ, a homeowner was facing a persistent issue every time it rained. Water seeped up through the baseboards in their finished basement, despite having an existing sump system. Frustrated and worried about potential damage to their basement, they reached out to us at Quality 1st. Once our Customer Care Specialist scheduled a home inspection, a System Design Specialist visited the home. During the inspection, it became clear that their sump system wasn't enough to handle the water intrusion. Basement waterproofing was the critical need to protect their living space and belongings. To address the problem, we recommended installing our WaterGuard subfloor drainage system. Our experienced production team, led by a foreman and dedicated installers, arrived on site and began the process. They carefully excavated a shallow trench around the perimeter of the basement floor, near the foundation walls, to install the WaterGuard system. This innovative, custom-designed PVC system was placed below the basement floor and on top of the footing.
