This homeowner in Pikesville, MD had some waterproofing done in the past, but a heavy rainfall backed up their sump pump and flooded the basement. They were in need of some quality waterproofing products they could rely on. They reached out to Quality 1st Basements and our System Design Specialist, Jeff Yentzer, suggested a SuperSump to take care of the water intrusion. IceGuard was applied to the discharge line so water could escape during cold conditions. A LawnScape grate was applied to the lawn, with a green color that blends in to the grass and has a flat design making mowing easy and keeps out small animals and debris. Lastly, the homeowner wanted a clean finished look on a portion of their walls. The result is a transformed basement with upgraded and durable waterproofing products.
SuperSump Installation
To help with the flooding in the homeowner's basement, the Quality 1st team installed a SuperSump sump pump. This sump pump has a backup pump that will continue to pump out water if the main pump stops working.
