Recently, a homeowner from Cape May, NJ, reached out to us at Quality 1st with a concern of moisture in the crawl space. They were experiencing a consistent issue with moisture under their home, causing worry about the potential damage to their home’s structure and air quality. After a thorough evaluation, the recommendation was to install our CleanSpace vapor barrier along with SilverGlo insulation on the walls and a state-of-the-art SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier to tackle the moisture head-on. The installation process was meticulous yet straightforward. Our production team, led by an experienced foreman, commenced by laying down the CleanSpace liner across the crawl space floor. This durable, bright white liner is designed to lock out moisture and pests, effectively protecting the home’s underbelly. SilverGlo panels were then affixed to the crawl space walls, providing a layer of thermal insulation that also helps reflect heat back into the crawl space for energy efficiency. Finally, the SaniDry Sedona, a compact but powerful dehumidifier, was installed to eliminate any lingering moisture in the air, offering the homeowner peace of mind and significantly improving the air quality under their home.
