This home in Wanaque, NJ was in need of a waterproofing solution in their crawl space. Since there was no existing system in place, the crawl space was suffering from the effects of water damage. To address this problem, our team at Quality 1st was able to provide an installation that would relieve the crawl space of unwanted moisture.
Our crew went out to the home to install a complete encapsulation in the crawl space to ensure water would not find its way inside. To do so, our Drainage Matting was laid down across the crawl space flooring to provide a channel for leaking water to flow through beneath the vapor barrier. CleanSpace, which is installed directly on top of the Drainage Matting, covers the floor and part of the walls to seal off moisture. This barrier is resistant to mold and mildew growth and gives a beautiful, bright finish to what was once a dark and musty crawl space. Lastly, our SilverGlo Insulation was installed on the crawl space walls to provide further moisture control by keeping humidity out and maintaining the space's dry climate.
