Photo Album: Crawl Space Waterproofing in North Brunswick, NJ
A homeowner in North Brunswick, New Jersey was experiencing water damage in their crawl space. Water was getting into the crawl space through the exposed dirt. This exposed dirt adds a lot of moisture to the air in the crawl space. When the ground is damp, the water evaporates upward into the crawl space, and eventually into the upper levels of the home. The homeowner called Quality 1st Basement Systems after seeing our ad on Instagram, and our System Design Specialist, JC Gibriano, provided an inspection. He suggested they encapsulate their crawl space, along with installing a sump pump system. Our foreman, Wilver Cardoza, installed the Drainage Matting first. This drainage matting lays on the floor and directs any water to the sump pump system. Next, Wilver installed the CleanSpace Vapor Barrier System which will seal off any doors, windows and will also remove standing water. CleanSpace goes over the drainage matting for added protection. By installing a Vapor Barrier System, the crawl space will be protected against water, pests, humidity, resistant against mold, rotting and water vapor.
