Photo Album: 22 Push Piers Installed In Irvington, NJ
A home in Irvington, NJ needed to have serious foundation work done as there were clear signs of foundation damage. Quality 1st Basement Systems sent out System Design Specialist, Javier Hoyos Romero, to inspect the area. Javier noticed cracks all over the foundation walls and highly recommended having Push Piers and Smart Jacks Installed. After moving forward with the project, our production department scheduled an install date.
Senior Foreman, Jonathan Neira and his team went out and installed 22 push piers around the perimeter of the home. Push Pier Systems utilize high-strength round steel tube sections and a load transfer bracket to stabilize and/or lift sinking or settling foundations. The foundation bracket is secured against the existing footing and pier sections are driven hydraulically through the foundation bracket and into the soil below using the combined structural weight and any contributory soil load as resistance. Smart Jacks XT with metal brackets are installed to help support the weight of the home.
Smart Jack XT
Jack System is installed above the foundation floor to help support the weight.
