When you think of concrete around your home, you are mostly thinking about your sidewalks, porch, pool area area and back patio. With your garage either filled with personal possessions or your vehicle, its not always noticeable if the garage floor is settled. This North Brunswick Township homeowner didn't notice their garage floor had settled until they started to notice the cracks in the slab. When inspecting further, they realized the entire garage floor had settled a few inches. Sinking Garage Floor

This garage floor had settled due to the weak soil beneath it. Soil becomes weak when it's poorly compacted, too wet or too dry and therefore can no longer support the weight of the concrete.
