A homeowner living in South Orange, NJ had water in the basement of their beautiful home. Since the basement was finished the walls and flooring were ruined and needed to be removed and replaced. Most basements are finished with organic drywall and carpeting and so therefore when water seeps through it is obsorbed by the material and becomes damaged. The lid also has a built- in alarm to notify the homeowner in case of an emergency.  When your basement floods, the drywall becomes damaged and needs to be replaced. Quality 1st removes the bottom 3 feet of the drywall and installs an inorganic wall panel called EverLast Restoration. These waterproof and mold resistant panels won't be damaged against plumbing leaks which can be very common in a basement.. The EverLast Panel has built in insulation to keep the basement warm and is harder then drywall making it impossible to dent.  Together, both systems provide the homeowner with a dry and healthy basement to enjoy with friends and family.
