Photo Album: New Flooring and Walls Installed to Finish a Basement in Short Hills, NJ
A customer of Quality 1st Basement Systems referred us to a neighbor who was experiencing water, moisture and humidity in their basement. System Design Specialist, Bob Peters, met with the homeowner who explained that they wanted to put in insulation and new walls. They also wanted new flooring and for the basement to be waterproofed to prevent further water from entering.
The Quality 1st crew installed WaterGuard to collect leaking water and direct it to the sump pump. SilverGlo Insulation panels were installed along with TerraBlock which provides energy savings and moisture protection. Basement Restoration Walls were installed which are mold and moisture resistant making it the perfect product for this basement. The homeowner also chose ThermalDry flooring for the basement rec area. This durable flooring is waterproof, mold resistant, and replaceable if need be.
The homeowners were amazed at the basement transformation and could already feel the warmth from the new insulation. Quality 1st Basement Systems was able to provide the homeowner with exactly what they were looking for in their basement.

EverLast Fished Wall Restoration System
EverLast Wall Restoration System was then placed under the BrightWall. These panels add additional insulation to the basement to keep it warm.
ThermalDry Flooring
ThermalDry Flooring is a great flooring product for the basement because it has pegs underneath allowing separation from the concrete floor, making the floor temperature 10 degrees warmer. ThermalDry Floor tiles are easy to repair, remove and replace!
