EverBrace Installation for Foundation Walls in Wall Township, NJ

An older foundation can show its age in many different ways, and one Wall Township, NJ homeowner was seeing several of them at once. The basement had older brick and block foundation walls that were originally painted white but had developed extensive brown discoloration and visible damage over time. There were also gaps throughout portions of the masonry, and some areas of the brick and block appeared loose. Outside the home, the condition of the foundation was even more apparent, with a large crack running through the brick basement walls and additional loose sections of masonry visible around the affected areas. With concerns about the condition of the aging foundation walls, the homeowner worked with System Design Specialist, Jack to determine an appropriate solution for the basement.

The first step was understanding the condition of the existing masonry and identifying the areas where reinforcement was needed. The visible gaps, loose masonry, cracking, discoloration, and water-related deterioration showed that the original brick and block walls had experienced significant wear. Rather than simply covering up the appearance of the older walls, the goal was to install a system designed to provide meaningful reinforcement and create a more durable wall assembly inside the basement. Foreman Victor and our team installed EverBrace along the affected basement walls. EverBrace is a foundation reinforcement system designed to create a new structural wall against an existing foundation. The system is particularly useful when older masonry walls have deteriorated and need additional support. By installing EverBrace along the affected areas, the new wall system works alongside the existing foundation while providing a more durable surface over the older masonry.

As the installation progressed, the deteriorated brick and block foundation became covered by the new EverBrace system. This created a significant visual change inside the basement while also adding reinforcement to the affected walls. Instead of leaving the homeowner with exposed masonry containing gaps, staining, loose areas, and signs of water damage, the basement now has a new wall system designed specifically to provide added structural support. Once the EverBrace installation was completed, the Wall Township homeowner had a much more durable foundation wall system in place. The project addressed the concerns associated with the aging brick and block masonry while giving the basement a cleaner and more finished appearance. With System Design Specialist, Jack helping develop the solution and Foreman, Victor leading the installation, Quality 1st Basement Systems transformed the affected foundation walls with an EverBrace system designed to provide long-term reinforcement over the existing masonry!
