Lower your humidity and increase your storage with Clean Space!

Finally some relief from the triple digit temperatures!!  The cold front came through and produced some much needed rain, but it also brought the humidity with it.  This heightened humidity is a danger to your homes crawl space.  If you home is built on a crawl space this humidity is sitting underneath the very floor you are standing or siting on right now.  So what's the big deal? It is under the house, not in the house, right?  Well it is in the house!  What is under your house is in your house!  The humid air that is sitting under your house is damaging the floor joists, ruining the insulation, condensating on your duct work creating additional energy costs and creating a damp place for mold to explode.  Your house is like a giant chimney, this call this the stack effect.  If you open windows the air is sucked in right.  You attic has vents so it can release air out of the top of the house and this air must be replaced.  This air is drawn out of your lowest level, be it a basement and or crawl space.  So the damp nasty air that is ruining your isulation, damaging your floor joists and possibly creating mold is being drawn into your home.
