What is teamwork and what does it mean for Quality 1st?
Teamwork is defined as "the combined action of a group of people, especially when effective and efficient." Teamwork can encompass many different things, but should have some basic foundations. Quality 1st prides ourselves on a sense of unity and enthusiasm for common causes or responsibilities. What that means for Quality 1st is working together to improve, helping each other to get better, and uniting on a common goal, complete customer satisfaction. Each time our team members unite for a common purpose, we are more effective and efficient. We have seen many problems that seemed unsolvable or difficult quickly become a solution when our different team members get involved. Quality 1st teamwork means that nothing and no one is left behind. We know that the person sitting next to us in a truck, desk, or customer's home will help and offer encouragement at all times. Nothing makes me happier than hearing our service technicians communicate with each other on different problems and solutions for the different types of service and maintenance appointments that they complete in a day!
Why does teamwork matter?
The answer is simple. Quality 1st Basement Systems is only as good as the team standing behind the name; the people who are facilitating, completing, and overseeing the work that we do make up the identity and reputation of Quality 1st Basement Systems. Without the participation of our entire company, we would not be able to be the industry leaders in basement waterproofing, crawl space waterproofing, and foundation repair. We see every day that when we work as a team not only is our productivity is at its highest, but everyone feels good, the work environment is so positive, and we can then celebrate our successes together.
