Waterproofing Solution For a Basement in Glen Mills, NJ
Challenge
Keeping a basement dry often requires more than a single product, it requires multiple systems working together. That was exactly the approach taken for this waterproofing project in Glen Mills, PA. The homeowners had experienced recurring moisture issues and wanted to permanently improve both the function and appearance of their unfinished basement. Rather than continuing to manage water after it entered the space, they wanted a solution that would intercept it, remove it, and create a cleaner environment overall. After evaluating the basement, our team designed a waterproofing system centered around three proven products that complement one another.
Solution
Foreman Anthoni led the installation, beginning with our WaterGuard Interior Drainage System. Installed along the perimeter of the basement, WaterGuard sits just above the footing where it captures groundwater before it reaches the floor. Unlike traditional drains that can clog with soil over time, WaterGuard is specifically engineered to remain effective while directing water toward the sump system. To remove collected groundwater from the home, a SuperSump system was installed. The SuperSump provides dependable pumping power to discharge water safely away from the foundation, helping reduce the risk of flooding during heavy rain or periods of elevated groundwater.
To complete the transformation, CleanSpace vapor barrier was installed along the basement walls. Beyond giving the basement a brighter and more finished appearance, CleanSpace helps separate the living environment from damp masonry surfaces, reducing moisture migration while creating a cleaner-looking space. Together, these systems create a comprehensive waterproofing solution. WaterGuard captures groundwater, the SuperSump removes it efficiently, and CleanSpace helps control moisture while dramatically improving the overall appearance of the basement. The completed project provided the homeowners with a cleaner, healthier, and more dependable basement they can feel confident in regardless of the weather outside.
