Waterproofing and Foundation Repair in Vineland, NJ
Challenge
A homeowner from Vineland, NJ was experiencing persistent water seepage and growing structural concerns in their basement. Seeking a professional solution, they contacted Quality 1st Basements for a free inspection. After evaluating the home, one of the company's System Design Specialist proposed a comprehensive plan that addressed both the moisture intrusion and the structural instability.
Solution
The project began with the installation of WaterGuard, a drainage system placed along the perimeter of the basement floor. This system was designed to capture water seeping in from the walls and floors and channel it directly to a sump pump for proper removal. To ensure maximum protection, the team installed the TripleSafe sump pump, which offers three levels of defense; a primary pump, a secondary pump, and a battery-powered backup pump that activates during power outages or emergencies. Beside the sump pump, the SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier was added to control moisture levels and reduce humidity in the space, contributing to a healthier and drier environment. Addressing the structural issues, Quality 1st Basements installed PowerBrace, designed to stabilized failing basement walls. This solution helped restore structural integrity and prevent further wall movement. The homeowner now has peace of mind that their basement is waterproofed and structurally sound.
