Quality 1st Basements Case Studies: Basement Waterproofing in Toms River

Friday, December 5th, 2014 by Rachel Hamm

This Toms River homeowner was dealing with basement flooding. He was unable to use the space due to the water in the basement because he was afraid his possessions would be ruined. Due to the wet basement, the homeowner was experiencing high humidity and he worried about mold growth. He called Quality 1st Basement Systems to learn more about waterproofing his basement.

The Quality 1st Basement Systems team installed a TripleSafe sump pump system to keep water flowing out of the basement. The TripleSafe sump pump system is heavy-duty and efficient, with three individual pumps to ensure that basement flooding is never an issue again. This system even comes with a back-up battery that runs automatically if a power outage occurs. A WaterGuard was also installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect any moisture from the basement walls and floors. This drainage system directly drains into the TripleSafe sump pump system and the water is pushed out of the basement and away from the home's foundation.

The Quality 1st Basement Systems crew installed a SaniDry Dehumidifer XP to combat humidity in this wet basement. This energy-efficient system dehumidifies and filters air, leaving basement atmospheres clean and dry. The SaniDry Dehumidifier is specifically designed for basements and it easily drains into the TripleSafe sump pump system for quick disposal of excess water. Now this homeowner has a dry, clean basement to store his possessions without fear of water damage!
