Basement Waterproofing Solution in Atlantic Highlands, NJ
Challenge
In Atlantic Highlands, NJ, a homeowner grew concerned after noticing a horizontal crack spreading across one of their basement walls. Beyond the visual damage, the crack posed a potential structural hazard and invited unwanted moisture into the space. Seeking a long-term fix, the homeowner reached out to us for help.
From the first call, our Customer Care Specialist ensured a smooth and prompt scheduling process. Our System Design Specialist, Joe soon arrived on-site to perform a full inspection and determine the extent of the issue. His recommendation was a comprehensive approach that would address both the structural and moisture concerns.
Solution
Our solution included three key components: the CarbonArmor Wall Reinforcing System, WaterGuard interior drainage, and the TripleSafe Sump Pump.
The CarbonArmor system, made from military-grade carbon fiber, was installed to stabilize the cracked foundation wall. This high-strength reinforcement bonded directly to the wall, halting further movement and reinforcing the structure without requiring excavation.
Next, our crew installed WaterGuard, a sub-floor perimeter drainage system designed to capture groundwater seepage and direct it safely to the sump pump.
The TripleSafe Sump Pump, with its three-pump system, including a battery backup, was then placed to ensure the basement remains dry even in extreme weather or power outages.
With the combined system in place, the homeowner could rest easy knowing their basement was both stabilized and protected from future water intrusion.
