Basement Waterproofing Photo Album: Waterproofing in Worcester, PA
This homeowner from Worcester, PA noticed a crack on their basement wall that was leaking in water. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free estimate and inspection. One of our System Design Specialists recommended Flexispan, SuperSump sump pump, SaniDry Sedona dehumidifier, and IceGuard.
Flexispan sealant was applied to the crack, stopping water from seeping through. The sealant is designed to move with the concrete wall so the crack stays sealed over time. SuperSump was installed in the corner of the basement to pump out any flooding far from the home's foundation so it wouldn't cause any further damage. SaniDry Sedona was placed in the basement to take any moisture and humidity from the air, preventing any damage to the supports. Finally, IceGuard was installed on the discharge line, giving the water from the discharge line an escape route with its three slits to prevent freezing.
The homeowner can now relax knowing their basement is protected against future water damage.
Flexispan
Flexispan was placed on the walls, sealing out any water and stays secure even if there are changes to the walls movement, keeping the space nice and dry.
SuperSump and WaterGuard
WaterGuard was installed around the perimeter of the basement against the walls and floor to collect and flow all of the flooding seeping through to the sump pump. SuperSump then takes the water directed to it by WaterGuard and pumps it out of the basement. Each SuperSump is fitted with an alarm to alert the homeowner if there is a problem with the system or if it needs maintenance.
SaniDry Sedona
SaniDry Sedona Dehumidifier was placed in the basement to rid the air of humidity. Each SaniDry Sedona eliminates up to 95 pints of water per day.
IceGuard
IceGuard was installed on the discharge line to keep the system running smoothly, even in the colder months.
