Old Sump Pump
The homeowner's existing sump pump was outdated and no longer functioning efficiently, resulting in inadequate drainage. This allowed water to accumulate around the foundation, leading to persistent seepage and moisture issues in the basement.
Installing WaterGuard
To address ongoing water intrusion, we installed our WaterGuard Drainage System. This involved removing a section of the basement floor perimeter, placing the WaterGuard System just above the footing to avoid clogging, and backfilling with clean stone before restoring the concrete surface. The result is a clean, efficient, and permanent solution for managing groundwater seepage.
WaterGuard Drainage System
WaterGuard is designed to effectively capture water seepage at the wall-floor joint and direct it to the sump pump system, without clogging or disruption to the foundation. It's a non-invasive, highly reliable drainage solution ideal for finished or unfinished basements.
WaterGuard Drainage System
Unlike traditional French drains, WaterGuard sits above the foundation footing, keeping it out of the "mud zone." This means it stays clean, efficient, and clog-free, ensuring long-term basement protection and peace of mind for homeowners.
SuperSump Premier
In addition to our WaterGuard Drainage System, we installed our SuperSump Premier Sump Pump to ensure reliable water removal from the basement. This high-performance system features a powerful cast-iron pump, airtight lid, and built-in alarm to protect against pump failure. It provides the homeowner with a dependable solution for managing groundwater and preventing further water damage.
