This homeowner from Springfield, NJ needed their crawl space waterproofed. They were getting water in the crawl space after heavy rains. They called Quality 1st Basements for a free estimate. One of our System Design Specialists recommended a CleanSpace encapsulation, sealing the walls and floors with the durable vapor barrier to prevent any water seeping through and keeping the crawl space dry. TrenchDrain was installed by the stairs to drain the water coming into the crawl space before it could spread to the rest of the area. SilverGlo was installed on the walls to help insulate, keeping the crawl space a healthy and consistent temperature. TripleSafe was installed in the corner to provide three layers of protection from flooding. SmartSump was also added for extra assurance pumping out heavy amounts of water from the crawl space. WellDuct was installed by the window to drain any seepage to the perimeter drains for removal. StarPipe was installed around the perimeter of the basement, directing any seepage from the walls and floors to the sump pumps. Finally, on the exterior of the house, IceGuard was applied on the discharge line to keep it from freezing during the winter months. The homeowner could now relax knowing that their home was protected against water damage.

SilverGlo was installed on the walls to keep the temperature healthy and stable.

TripleSafe was installed to provide the ultimate protection against water intrusion with its three layers of protection; one primary pump, one secondary pump, and an UltraSump battery pack. This made sure the basement stayed nice and dry even during emergency situations such as power outages.

TrenchDrain

TrenchDrain was installed by the crawl space steps to drain water from the entryway and direct it to the sump pump to be removed from the crawl space.

SmartSump

SmartSump was installed in the basement to pump out the floodwater directed to it. Each SmartSump is fitted with an alarm to alert the homeowner if there's a problem with the system or if the system needs maintenance.

WellDuct

WellDuct was installed to drain any leakage from the windows and directing it to the perimeter drains.

StarPipe

StarPipe was installed around the perimeter of the basement to collect any water from the walls and floors and direct it to the sump pump.

IceGuard was installed on the discharge line to keep the system from freezing and backing up into the basement.

vent cover

A Vent cover was added to the outside opening of the crawl space to keep environmental factors from disturbing the crawl space such as humidity, winter cold, and debris.
